The D00701 Kindle Wireless Reading Device is one of my favorite gadgets of the year. Actually there is so much to tell about this new way of getting information that I really don’t know where to start.

Ok, let’s start with some first impressions when I first unpacked my Kindle package. I had only seen pictures of it before and maybe that was the reason that I was quite impressed when I got it in my hands. It’s so slim and light…really comfortable to handle. Nice looking too.

When I load my first book I notice that the text is very clear and easy to read. I have also tested the Kindle outdoors and I was happy to found that I easily could read the latest Dan Brown on the beach in the clear sunlight.

You can also change the fonts and a really nice feature is that when you get tired of reading you turn on the text to speech feature and listen to the book. Amazing!

The technology used in this eBook reader is the same as in the cell phones. This means that you also can read newspapers, magazines and main blogs from your device.

You can browse the complete Amazon library and also purchase new books directly from your Kindle. I have noticed that many titles are actually cheaper and I suppose that is a way to make the Kindle D00701 more popular.

Auto delivery of newspapers and magazines are another nice feature. You have the daily news loaded in your reader before breakfast.

A couple of other nice features are full access to Wikipedia and an easy way to add notes to the book that you are reading. This was a really great improvement from the early audio books. I always got the feeling that I would like to remember certain parts of the book but never could because I would find the right part later.

Overall the D00701 Kindle Ebook reader is my number one favorite. I really like it and now I have the feeling that I have all my books with me. As a matter of fact I have all books on Amazon with me.
