Lately its not unusual to see new, developing technologies overshadowing the old. Now with the launch of e-book reader Kindle 2, some are questioning the practicality of the device. FOX News reports on the increasing popularity of the gadget. If you are a reader, if you like to read newspapers and magazines, this makes it much more convenient. (Even if its going to cost you 0 to get this when you can just go out and buy a book?) Even though its going to cost 9 to get this, the books are .99; you can actually save money over time using this device. (NBC) The New York Times takes another perspective on whether or not its worth the price tag. An e-book reader is a delicate piece of electronics. It can be lost, dropped or fried in the tub. Youd have to buy an awful lot of best sellers to recoup the purchase price. If Amazon goes under or abandons the Kindle, you lose your entire library. And you cant pass on or sell an e-book after youve read it. (The New York Times) However
