Ok, the three questions… Do you love books? Or, do you love reading? Or maybe you love stories, information and news?
For me the answer is yes to all of them. Right now I really don’t have time to get the information I want in any other way than with my Kindle. That includes novels, news, and informational guides of all kinds.
The Kindle 3 g (the early Kindle D00701) was the answer I had been looking for. I thought that the audio books could solve my problem but they didn’t… Kindle did.
Here are some of the features in the new model:
- New high contrast E Ink screen
- Improved fonts as they are crispier and darker
- The design is really sleek with a 21% smaller body
- Now 15% lighter than the older one
- Up to one month of battery life with a single charge
- The storage is now doubled and can store 3500 books
- Connectivity with free 3G wireless
- Ability to connect to Wi Fi hotspots
- Seamless reading with faster page turns
- Text to speach feature for easy listening to books
Let me show you what another customer has to say about the Kindle 3G:
This is from Carl V.
“Today my morning was more nice than usually as the first thing I saw was a birthday gift in form of a Kindle 3G. Actually I am used to these electronic gadgets as I also have an iPad and also a Kindle DX. However I think that my complaints about both of them being too heavy for any longer periods of reading was now resulting in this gift. I am not saying that I don’t like the other two, I really do. They have their own tasks to fill but for longer reading sessions the new Kindle 3G is perfect. I can read outside without any problem as there is not any difficulties with the sunlight what so ever. This is my new friend for reading novels…”Review paraphrased for size — view original and complete review here.

The D00701 Kindle Wireless Reading Device is one of my favorite gadgets of the year. Actually there is so much to tell about this new way of getting information that I really don’t know where to start.
Ok, let’s start with some first impressions when I first unpacked my Kindle package. I had only seen pictures of it before and maybe that was the reason that I was quite impressed when I got it in my hands. It’s so slim and light…really comfortable to handle. Nice looking too.

When I load my first book I notice that the text is very clear and easy to read. I have also tested the Kindle outdoors and I was happy to found that I easily could read the latest Dan Brown on the beach in the clear sunlight. Read the rest of this entry
